That one you can buy as low as $150...from 2014-2016 F15's. 2017-2018 uses different screen it has touch functionality different part number.

My screen is already precut to fit on f30 dashboard, I will let you know, it's hard to find these screens.

Yes, precut is the reason i am look to buy. so i don't have to break my head for cutting it.

so yours is touchscreen?

i have 2016 328i nbt evo with id4. I see members saying touchscreen need id5 or higher. do you know whether the screen works with id4 without touch functionality for now and when i upgrade to id5 in future i don't have to buy a new screen again.

Can be code it to id5 and touch functionality activated it. I have none touch screen also if you want I can pre cut it for you and test fit then ship.

sorry i didn't get your point.

can we code my current id4 head unit to id5 ? i was under the impression that id5 needs a different head unit. or are you referring to coding the touch functionality in future when i upgrade to id5 ?

yes i would be interested if you can precut the non touchscreen one

its a bigger hastle to code id4 head unit to id5/6 since unless you know someone near by you have to ship off your hu somewhere and drive around without a radio temporarily. plus theres no way id5/6 is going to run well on a unit with half the ram as required.

unless someone absolultely needs touchscreen its just a better to go non touchscreen

I woud like upgrade my NTB EVO with 8,8” from 11/2016 To the 10,25” screen. Therefore I got an offer from a damaged f85 (Prod. Date 2015-12-02) The 10,25 screen from this car is labeled with a part number I cannot find in any ETK. Also in the web is nothing to find about this part number. Is somebody knew if this a regular nbt srcreen which is working with 8,4v power supply or is this an Evo screen (Touchscreen with 12v).

BMW part number: 935790701

The conection in the screen is in the middle not on the left sight as for part 878.
on web pictures i see only the Touchscreen display with the middle conector.

You cannot run regular NBT screen on your NBT EVO SYSTEM, different voltage.

I know that the regular Display working with lower voltage. I will use a voltage regulator for power supply. But first of all I need to know if this display is a Evo Touch Display or regular nbt display.

Real oem shows 7878 as the only 10 inch CID for the f85 with that production month. Also 7878 has the connector in the middle (that's what I have)

So assuming the donor vehicle has been running what it was built with you have 7878. And yes you will need to use a voltage regulator to get it working. Some have reported it works with a regulator others have had issues

Also my display does have the 3 cubes behind the Glas on the left and right corner.

The 3 cubes on each side of the screen indicate that it's a touch screen.

That's weird since the f85 you said is the donor did not have touchscreen. Must have been upgraded

Yes this is the reason why I’m confused. The donor said no touch screen but the display itself looks like one. And the part number does not exist anywhere

Will the display damaged if it’s supply at 12v and it’s a apix1 display with 8,4v power supply?

In my understanding it’s a touch display with apix2 It will work plug and play (touch need to code) with my nbt Evo?

I tried to connect with my NBT Evo but the display show nothing, also not "no Signal" so I think its a no touch display APIX1 with 8,4V.

hope it is not broken after my connecting try.

Do you have Evo id4 or Evo id5?

Evo id4 is typically apix1 depending on the vehicle. Id5 in the f30 starts apix2 generally (Although some late production id4 see.to be apix2)

My f31 is from 11/2016 and does have ID5 and apix2.

Tried today to supply the display with 12v and 8,4v without Hsd video connector. But on I haven’t seen the”no signal”. Does it show only with video cable connected? Or is the display damage if it’s a 8,4v display and after I connected to 12v?

Did you code the resolution changes? Regardless of touch capability a 10.25" screen is not "plug and play", you need to code the color depth and resolution.
