I'm not sure i 100% clear in one of responses above when oguz kuruca asked about it. If you want to retrofit the OEM reverse camera, you much first have OEM Rear PDC. There is an option of going aftermarket which doesn't require rear PDC. I'm 99.99999999% positive you could not have just added rear PDC as an option on your car. It's option 507 (driver assistance) from the dealer which includes Rear PDC & the reverse camera. So the fact your asking, would mean you would not already have Rear PDC or you would have the reverse camera as well. OEM Rear PDC DIY thread OEM Reverse Camera DIY thread As for the tire sizes.. i am running the stock M3 437 tire sizes & i am not rubbing at all. The ones that are rubbing are lowered on some sort of aftermarket suspension. My car is an M Sport so it's 10mm lower than non M sport or non sport package F30's. Here are the specs of the wheel/tire I'm running - 255/35/19x9 +29 & 275/35/19x10 +40. With that being said, the offsets & the wider tire maybe too aggressive for some & may not like the "poke" look of the tires beyond the fenders. The rear tires look awesome... the front.. the next time i buy tires i'm going to go a size down. The rim width of a 9 & offset of +29 (which is the culprit) will remain the same but the tire size would be 10mm less in width. Hope that makes sense. I did a write up of these Rims/Tires if you want some additional & more pics: My 437M thread |

I have a similar '14 GSM F30. I bought this CPO this past Nov in Charleston SC. The original owner had 9k of M Performance add-ons installed by dealer and the ODO only had 1300!. I could not pass it up, so I made the trip from VA to pick it up. This is my first performance car and first BMW and I'm sure it won't be my last. Next for me is VMR V710 or V810 Gunmetal 19" wheels with H&R Sports.

I finally took some photos that wasn't in my driveway... Work has kept me busy & the M performance brakes are not on yet.. that & the fact I ordered a red set b/c i decided the pheonix yellow wasn't the color I always wanted...

looks great, love the color combination of the parts!
I'm still torn about the M Performance Decals, don't have it on my list of things that I want but when I see pictures like these, I like it Maybe I'll photoshop it on my car once I have it to see what it would look like |

Beautifully picked up mods, your car looks v nice inside and out. Those M3 wheels add to the beauty.
Only thing is that 335i chrome badge looks out of place with all black bits. It's just my perception since I rebadged mine. |

Thanks... I do have Dinan CAI & Dinan Exhaust.. But yeah, your right those didn't add much if any. The car is fast enough for me... I will probably add MP or Dinan tune at some point but have lots of other stuff i would rather have before that. Quote:
Thanks, the wheels were the game changer for sure. You know, the Black 335i badge is definitely on my list, i want to find matte black & not gloss black. |

Looks good. Like the OEM approach, good quality choices for a custom look I think. Brakes and wheels would be nice, but i might have to settle for a Dp and JB4 for now.

M performance brakes installed... i really wished i had taken more photos during the install so i could share with you guys what i learned. The problem is, brakes are freaking messy so i would have had to constantly be changing my gloves to grab my phone to take photos. i can answer any question you guys may have about install the brakes as I learned a lot researching this project & during the install itself.
Here is the front passenger caliper after I moved over the brake line: Here is the front caliper installed with the front rotor. I had a really bad scrapping sound on my 1st test drive... oddly enough even though i swapped dust shields on the front... the new one got bent somehow & was rubbing the rotor on the back side. So after i bent that sucker away from the rotor, all was good. Unfortunately I didn't get any additional photos during the install, but here is a teaser... I hope to get some good photos this week. I still have to bed the brakes & code the car. They look amazing.. car is really coming together. The weather was perfect today here in NC so i was driving with the windows down, this guy in a truck holds him arm out the window as i turning from a stop sign & yelled, your car looks sick bro...)... :happy anim: Last edited by steelerfan; 09-24-2017 at 11:08 PM.. |

Also removed the orange side marker & replaced with clear. I was photo bombed by this chic walking by... Last edited by steelerfan; 09-24-2017 at 11:08 PM.. |
