Hi sorry to dig a old thread up but my cars due for a service and not long after the check front brake pads and fluid have come on.
Looked at pads and states BMW 845 130 on them, can I use an alternative and if so which would people recommend as they are non m sport blue ones Thanks |

Also I can't tell from the pads without taking them off but I take it I'm gonna need the sensor as it's tripped the warning on my idrive, where do people usually purchase these from ? Thanks

Had their rotors rusk and flake in one winter, TV, failure with pads. Expert technicians called EBC a joke outsourcing its production in very low cost places. At least their Motorcycle line is somewhat better.

I’ve had problems with EBC Redstuff pads on a previous car were are chunk of the material separated from the carrier. I’ve seen others with this problem too with EBC pads.
My brother had the whole pad material separate on his motorbike, luckily just the rear wheel and riding through town so speeds were low. I use Pagid on the cars now and never had a problem, EBC are just garbage. |
