Any shops in the DC/Northern VA area that can repair a slightly bent wheel? Hit a nasty pothole on the BW parkway last week

I was having a vibration issue a while ago. BMW of Sterling diagnosed it as a bent rim, repaired it for $150. I was satisfied, but I have no idea what anyone else would charge to repair a bent rim.

Seems like a reasonable price. I was planning to take my car to Fairfax BMW soon anyway, so may explore that option. Waiting on some quotes from other companies as we speak.

http://www.wheelsonsite.com/ is a mobile repair outfit out of Sterling VA. I know they do cosmetic restorations, but not sure about truing a bend.

Thanks - I did come across them and I don't think they repair bends. I'm gonna try elite mobile tomorrow, hopefully they can get this taken care of

Quick update - results were overall pretty good, most of the bend was able to be repaired, and he gave me a minor discount because he didn't want to take it all the way for fear of cracking the wheel. In and out in just over an hour, and the car feels much better on the road (only slight vibrations now over 60+mph).

Took the car to a tire shop today and there is a small hole in the wheel itself, which is causing the tire to lose air faster than the rest. Elite can weld the wheel, but I think I'll end up ordering a new one, as I don't have a spare so the logistics of getting him the wheel and leaving it for a day or two doesn't make it easy. But would definitely use him again in the future for repairs/curb rash.

Great folks had a slight bend in my 18" 397 wheel fixed in 20 minutes

I just had two wheels repaired at rimdocmd.com. Highly recommend them. They are located in Glen Burnie. Very reasonable prices.
