Hi, I also bought this unit for NBT Android Display as soon as I put the little black cable in it does not spin wheel there is any trick or software?

I got a new Avin Android 8.1 unit for my entrynav system. I have regular hifi audio, no optic cables. I am experiencing a problem where audio only comes out of right speaker, nav sound from left. After some random fiddling in factory setup (I think door left vs right setting), now sound only comes from right speaker, including nav sound.

I have tried with and without aux cable. That has no effect. Any ideas? I noticed that I have HW7 in MCU version, and some guys have HW8. Can that be the cause? How to update? Thanks!

Thinking about it, it has to be like picture below. + wire is going on one side of all the fuses.

There aren't many HW8 MCUs out there the only one I found is a CCC version and won't work with the CIC and NBT

My unit cuts the sound off if I let it boot before pressing the start/stop. I have to reboot the unit to get the voice back. Anybody has this problem?

It was on the Google Drive shared here if you can't find it let me know I can send you the file. Me and an other user here could not update to HW7 MCU s after installing this. So be careful it worked for me and I am happy but he lost the sun on his device

Hi. Recently installed this a 10.25 8.1 unit.

Is there anyway of having the unit automatically connect to my iPhone hotspot, bit of a pain having to re activate on my iPhone then activate on the unit to get it working

Find the screen has a glare to it, does anyone know where I can get a Matte screen protector?

How do I adjust the brightness, there is a slider from the drop down window but that doesn't do anything

Got a 2014 435i Grand Coupe with M package. Anybody install one in this specific car?

If so, can you run Waze, iHeart simultanously and other apps assume?

Seems like a great idea, just hit/miss/poor execution and support by vendor unfortunately.

It will be the same as the other cars. I went with Ugode rather than Avin and its all good on mine.

I am super confused by their instruction.

Front camera video is connected to video in.

If that is the case how does the TV tuner get connected?

I have a F33 with an NBT EVO ID5 in which there is no GPS connector to put the splitter to carry the original BMW GPS signal to the Android screen.
That is to say, that I am forced to put the antenna mouse that comes with the Android screen .
What I am asking here to those people who have placed the mouse antenna that comes with the Android screen, is where you have placed it and how you have taken it to that place.

Choose AUX auto switch in settings.

Something on my setup has started playing up. When I'm playing the android side of things, the iDrive cuts off and shuts down or reboots. I've had the stereo on the BMW side and everything has worked perfect. Is it my head unit gone or is the idrive no longer able to take aux?
