Apologies for the new thread but I want to get the best audience

Little bit of a squeeky bum time - spend most of this morning looking at e-sys etc.

So onto the EBT coding. below I followed part one and did a VO code and changed 6NH to 6NK. All ok as its all in the PDF.

Onto part 2 then. I just need more detail here, I can see that the change is all ok for part 1.

So I go back to coding right click on ECU and select code. I followed this instructions here:

In this case, you VO Code HU_CIC and CMB_MEDIA, which is the same process as FDL Coding, except you highlight the ECU itself, not the underlying CAFD entry, right-click on it, and select CODE (NOT FDL Code).

When you do this, it will code the entire ECU to support all options in the VO, so you do not have to manually FDL Code, each and every required parameter needed to support an option.

Things reboot and I get all sorts of errors (driving, ecu) that have gone but still no EB

Could someone please give me step by step instructions on 2 please

Ie what icons to click etc. Don't want to do that again without being certain what to do. Also bear in mind that the first part is done? Do I have to do it again.. and load some files again?

Afterward, you should understand how to replace 6NH with 6NK in your VO.

2) VO Code HU_CIC and CM_MEDIA ECU's:

Connect => Read FA (VO) => Activate FA (VO) => Read SVT (VCM) => Right-Click on ECU (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE.

Assuming you have pro nav, you shouldn't be touching the CIC - recent pro nav units use NBT.

Also I don't think 6NK is an option on recent cars, 6NS is the appropriate option for in the UK.

Change the VO to 6NS and code the NBT.

Yup should be there at the top level of the tree.

If you have NBT you definitely want to use 6NS in your vehicle order (FA/VO) 6NK isn't supported.

I coded the entire ECU before - didn't single out NBT...

As i got lots of errors on the idrive before do you think I might have done something bad? they cleared after a while

I don't have a token so I doubt it?
