Cheers guys.

I only did the outside... Took 10 hours but some if that was cracking with neighbours and a quick lunch... But, I did put 4 coats of protection on!

The 2 coats of SN Hybrid as a base should last a few years... I hope the softer SN Wax will be almost the sacrificial layer and pick up the contamination and be clayed off... The SN Acrylic Spritz also keeps this topped up with a harder wearing top coat. So, if I Spritz it again every month or so it will easily last until my pre-winter attentions. Or, even beyond if needed... The SN Spritz takes about 20-30 minutes extra on top of a wash and dry.

The car I traded in was still reasonably decent 5-6 months on from my last attentions... That only had SN Wax and SN Spritz with no winter top up... I'd lost interest when my order went in...

I've now got SN Leather Cleaner and SN Sealant ready to tackle the seats and some DoDo Fantastic Plastic... So, inside soon...

How do you keep it clean after all that? I cant think youd do that every week! Does a jet wash do it?

You could also try some autoglym auto wax.

Are you tempted to put some other dodo wax on?

How much did you end up spending in the end for all the products and application / cleaning tools?

I've spent close to 230 pounds now, that does include everything though from buckets to wash mits etc

Looks fab! Well done
Can I ask what product you would use to get rid of tiny scratches/swirls in the door uprights? - The gloss black pieces that seem to mark really easily!

I think I've probably got in the region of £400-£500 all in.

I posted a thread about my kit the other day.

The car is only 2 weeks old so not marked... Yet...

I've been washing them first in the hope of keeping them fresh. I've also put 2 layers of SN Hybrid on them in hope of protecting them. However, I think I'll try my SN Micro Prime if they get marked through the SN Hybrid.

DoDo also makes a gloss trim sealant that I may add to my kit bag...

I'm a big fan of Auto Finesse Iron Out. Made in the UK and works wonders to remove rail dust from paint and also works well to remove brake dust from wheels.

Also, German made, Sonax Full Effect wheel cleaner for wheels with more caked on brake dust. And Sonax Net Shield to polish the paintwork after using Iron Out.... Works well and won't wear your body out!

The results were as I'd hoped. I'd opted for satin to matt finish products.

Cheers.

It was very easy to use:
The cleaner just sprays on, I agitated it with the soft brush sand then wiped off repeatedly with a damp cloth. Bucket and cloth actually as it took away the cleaning residue. Then I buffed it with a microfibre.
The sealant was even easier. It comes in a fine spray Spritz bottle. Spray on, spread with a cloth and allow to dry. Buff with a microfibre. Then repeat a second coat. I didn't particularly buff as I preferred the more matt finish. I believe there is also a more glossy sealant available or in development...

The leather is now a bit more matt in finish and I think feels a little softer. I paid particular attention to the bolsters to try and minimise wear.

Overall, I'm impressed.

Having won my car argument, we're apparently going to be getting a pink leather sofa... I've had my victories for a while... I'll use the SN Leather stuff on that also.

@Brigand, it means I'd lost all bargaining power at the point it was 'decided' WE needed a new sofa...

I'd recommend boot polish ;-)
Nice work! And you definitely won the right battle there... Having your choice of seat but driving around in a hot pink Micra would be infinitely worse

Can we have an after shot when the kids get in the back and spill melted chocolate everywhere.

Good work again, looking sharp as ever!
