Weathered "Bubble" on BMW OEM licence plate frame

Hi all,

As we all know the Canadian winters can be harsh. Finally the snow is melting here in Calgary, and I took my 430 Xi to the car wash, but I am noticing that my OEM License Plate frame has the "vinyl bubble" all weathered. I just bought the frame last spring. Amazing the quality is so bad. Anyone else have this problem? Can this be cleaned?

Hi all,

Wanted to pick up this thread again. Any way to protect the "M-performance bubble" during the harsh winter months?
