Engine air filter recommendation

I've got a 2014 F30 328i M-sport.

Any recommendations for a engine air filter?

Also, there seems to be a different filter for the m-sport model. The fit is the same, but a different part number. What is the difference?

I've been running the MANN C24025 filter. Every 15k with a good inspection and knock out upside down, each oil change in between (to release larger particles). Also have a K&N high flow filter on the shelf that I've used in the past and would use again... but prefer the better filtration of the OEM style filters for every day driving over the slight increase in flow achieved with a less restrictive (performance) filter. Aiming for longevity mostly. Not aware of any TRUE differences with the M Sport part numbered OEM filters... airbox is the same regardless. I've seen some advertised with an extra snow filter, which seems unnecessary:

OEM. Ignore the hype about high flow filters. They do work with normally aspirated engines, but not with turbos. If BMW knew they could improve performance for such a small investment they'd do it.

I just grab the most expensive one at FCP Euro and send it back once it's dirty.

I get WIX WA10005 Air Filter for engine protection. Mahle and Hengst are solid too.

OEM filter works just fine. Change it more frequently if needed and that's about does it.

He totally overlooked the benefit of high flow filters with turbos. There's little to none. A turbo sucks in as much air as the engine can make use of.
