No time yet for a proper shoot but the first wash in a while to finally see how the new exhaust looks, probably will get the fake diffuser wrapped in gloss black whenever I get a tint put on to complete the look

Edit- found time to take better pics after polishing the exhaust

Love it, M3 style centered`ish exhaust without the M3 rear bumper. It looks a bit like an Alpina B3/D3 with a M3 exhaust. Ive personally never really liked the twin tip M5 style exhausts that many people do... Just doesnt fit the F30 IMO.

I considered doing the same with my M-sport rear bumper, but opted for the 340i look.
Heres what i considered doing (done with photoshop)

I love a good clean white BMW, probably the best combo for the darker parts on the M Sport bumper IMO, ties in well with your tails too, I like the way you ended up doing your exhaust, the dark tips fit it well and I agree the single dual outlet is pretty iconic as well, I am quite partial to your second rendering, the more centered fit feels classic BMW. I didn’t have a strong opinion about the twin tips vs more distinct pipes until I saw the one I had in person, the little bit of extra separation makes a big difference.

My first BMW love was the e39 M5 so I’m partial to the centered quad tips and more smooth body work vs the more angular m sport, it’s actually the M2 exhaust that I swapped on, so that’s probably why it’s giving off those vibes and has that tip placement, the outer pipe lines up with the 335i/40i stock tip for reference.

Love parking and then looking back. The 403Ms really pop when they're clean

After it's recent first handwash of the year:

Probably last pictures for now of it on its 397s also; I'll be collecting my 18" 405Ms early next week after their full refurb; dropped them off the other day with my pal:

Will report back when they're fitted and let the pictures speak for themselves

No sir, it’s “gloss green envy”, and it’s a wrap from 3M. Granted the ceramic coat helps it pop a lot, especially in the sun.

I agree, when I get it on coil overs too I think the bronze is a better more unique look, it’s obviously just hard to go wrong with black.

Or depending on budget: powder coat your current wheel setup in black & purchase a different style rim & tire setup in bronze, so you can get the best of both worlds, but ultimately go with your gut & what you like (it's your build)..... regardless of what I or anyone else think - - good luck!!

I really love that M2 exhaust. I wish I knew it was an option for our chassis, I ended up buying a Dinan but could have saved hundreds with a used M2! still waiting for some sound clips.

Imperial blue gang, rise up! I'm rocking 403's too. By far my favorite wheel. I like how you blacked out the chrome trim, is that original or covered with glossy tape? I am debating doing something like that. I do like the chrome too; its good contrast against the blue.

I like the 18's a lot more than the 20's. Getting them powder coated a new color is a great idea!

rlesko I know! I need to get a good video soon, I was changing my cabin air filter the other day and introduced a very annoying rattle I need to track down (I think it’s just the kick panel) before I video it. The Dinan one is very nice as well though, I’ve heard it sounds great from a few videos I’ve seen, and it’s not the most common choice either so a bit of uniqueness

I agree with the chrome and imperial blue combo too, might be the only color combo that does the chrome well IMO (especially if you had a saddle brown interior)
