I was wondering what Free Service you received during the New Factory Warranty period which happens to be 4 years/80,000km in Canada or 4 Years/50,000 miles in USA.

I'm wondering what a person is entitled to during that period as part of the scheduled/included maintenance program. Is it just 1 Annual Oil Change (total of 4), 1 Cabin Filter, 1 Air Filter, 2 Brake Fluid Changes? Will they do Coolant , Transmission, Gear Oil, etc..? I can't seem to find a list or consistent information relating to this.

What maintenance were you able to have done during your new warranty period at no cost?

Haha, there's really no "free" service, you've actually paid for it with the car's invoice. With that said, here in the US, the new 2017 models warranty/"free" service has been trimmed back to 3 years and covers most every thing except tires. I've even had wiper blades replaced as part of the service period.

OP is referring to the maintenance plan only, not the warranty, and wondering what people really get vs. what is offered.

In my mind the only thing most people don't actually get is brakes, since they tend to last awhile. I could be wrong though.

I've been getting cabin air filter, engine air filter, and brake flush with each of my annual oil service visits to my dealer. Wiper blades are included as well, mine just haven't failed yet. I plan on asking for a set before warranty expiration. I don't think the trans or diff fluids are included but I'm not totally sure, that's a good question.

my first year maintenance is due in a couple of months so i wonder as well. knowing how these feckers like to weasel their way out of their corporate responsibilties, im not expecting much but your regular oil change and filter, topping off of liquids. thats it.

Maintenance plans are NOT the same in Canada as they are in the US.

Basically oil, brake fuild, and filter change and a quick look to make sure nothing's falling apart and that's it. Anything else is extra.

This, basically whatever the car's CBS calls for. One thing to note, if you don't put a ton of mileage on, your dealership will perform an annual oil change if you still aren't close to the CBS interval after 12 months.
