Thanks for the reply and apologies for the slight thread-jack.
I will be extremely jealous of your M3... though hopefully only for a short while as I've got a couple of test drives lined up for Saturday morning around your neck of the woods by the sounds of it... the first is a 64 plate M5 CP and the second is an ex Demo YMB M3. It had better be worth it as I'm leaving home at silly-o-clock to get to the dealers for the time their doors open at 8:30. |

Bowker Blackburn for the M5 CP
Williams Rochdale for the M3 Though I'm also tempted to take a look at the MCB/Black M5 Stratstone Leeds have whilst I'm up that way. |

Very nice indeed, the m3 is unusual having a sunroof a rare spec, doesn't look like an LCI either, if that bothers you. (actually I can't tell after looking again)
Enjoy the day!

Good spot, I hadn't noticed it wasn't an LCI Following the general consensus that the LCI is better in the handling department and falls within my budget, it seems foolhardy to go for the "older" model... Now off to the AUC site to see if there are any suitable LCI's in likely to be going near on my route which I can do M1, A50, M6 or M1, M62. |

This one's not far off my route:
http://usedcars.knightssouthstaffsbm...cmdc=se_ce_re_ I'm not bothered about the sunroof, but adaptive lights and HUD are a must. However, I wonder what sort of price I could get a factory order with similar spec for as I'm sure it wouldn't be that much more now discounts seem to be forthcoming. Enjoy your collection on Saturday and don't forget to share pictures. |

The coast 2 coast discounts are better now than when I looked last month on the M3.

I would certainly price up new as there seem to be quite a ready supply of showroom M3s that ought to be ripe for a deal. Guys on here are also quoting higher discounts than coast to coast so I imagine low £50k ish is achievable with decent interest rates.

Only just seen this as I don't pop in this section very often, congrats Neil
Have to say I am a bit surprised though as I thought the M5 was a keeper? Still, at least you know someone now you can sell the exhaust and springs to... FYI 80-180km/h M4 std 7.9 secs M4 tuned 6.2 secs M5 std 7.6 secs M5 tuned 6.8 secs |
