I put an ebay spacer on a catless downpipe and again on a stock car that just had a bad catalytic converter. Both never failed in my ownership and the CEL never came back. No issues with driveability or AFR measurements either.

Not yet. Stock downpipe currently until after service then swap back on

I put the straight spacer on my catless dp last summer. I get a CEL about every 2k miles. I might just try the 90 degree spacer and see if that gives no cel.

Thats usually my experience with spacers. Let me know how you work out if you swap them..

That's really interesting because I've never had an issue with a straight one, unless it's really short? But a 90* spacer will definitely work better.

I got a L shaped spacer on Amazon for like 20 bucks IIRC.

No issues so far after nearly 5k miles of driving.

I have the VRSF DP.
