What was posted by the original post will need coding to clear errors. Any conversion kit that adds just LED or HID normally has the capacitors etc to avoid the errors but those could also just be coded.

So anyone figure out what the additional hardware included with the 61132358310 kit vs buying the 63177315559/63177315560 separately is for?
Here is a post where a guy shows everything included with the kit: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1058807&page=2 Do all f30s already have the cornering foglight module? |

Hello CrapSOOT,
Based on your thread, I decided to install the LCI fog lights on my 335i F30. I had no problem for replacing the left one...but for the right side, I'm facing some problem. in fact, as you can see on the picture, the current fog light is a little bite hidden by a big vertical part and as the LCI fog light is more bigger, I think it will be impossible to install the LCI fog light. Did you had the same problem? Thank you very much for your help on this topic |

Did the retrofit yesterday, couple of things to note.
My stock halogen fog lights were only attached with one screw, I thought that was kind of odd but the fog housings only have one screw hole. Second, the install is definitely really easy if you have a lift. Lastly I'm unimpressed with the light output even with coding to 100%. I'm not quite sure it's worth the high cost involved for the LCI lights.

Any change to LED requires coding out the cold and warm checks. My retrofit cost about $125, and the measured light output is three times that of the stock 35w halogens. My install thread:
http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1377259 Coding isn't difficult, well worth learning how to do. If it wasn't for the codes all being in German it wouldn't be intimidating at all. Last edited by Billfitz; 04-24-2017 at 06:57 AM.. |

hi guys,
I just bought fog led lights retrofit OEM parts: 63 17 7 315 559 63 17 7 315 560 These havent arrive yet and I thought I needed resistors but now I understand all I need to do once installing them is do a coding. I have no idea where to look for the codes or how to do it since I am new into upgrading my car etc... Mine is an F30 (year 2016 320i) VIN K356623 Can someone point me in the direction of the codes I need to set up and also how do I do a coding I have no idea what I need? I have a schwaben mini/bmw scanner, is that good or do I need a software and ENET cable? Thanks.... |

alexgarcia ,
You only got a partial answer above. To do any coding on an F series, you need the following:
Suggest you post on this thread: http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...916911&page=21 When doing so, address your post to either ShawnSheridan or Almaretto With all of the above, it's really very straight forward to code out the warm & cold check that the system routinely does for regular bulbs, but not necessary for LEDs Hope that helps

My fog led lights arrived today
I much better understand now all that it is required to do the coding. Today my fog led lights arrived (they look so nice) and I cant wait to install them even I dont have all necessary software and hardware to do the coding.
I have read some retrofits have no error or require no coding (i dont know if that is my case) anyways I will look into getting all the required to do the coding and will post in the thread below for guidance. I am about nervous about all this coding but since I am also upgrading my 6.5" screen to a 8.8" screen with navigation I really need to learn all this. I will post some images as I start my installation...(I was about to consider buying the resistors but I will not now and better deal with this coding challenge) Thanks, Quote:
