Pics? What dash cam have you fitted?
I have a Roav cam. Didn't do any install pics. But the wire in this picture is the only wire you see in the entire car. Added a picture of where I hid the wire in the front of the car.

Wrapped my v bars in brushed aluminum, in the day you barely notice - at night if light hits them they kind of reflect, pretty cool imo, can always remove though. Also added a small spoiler a few days ago:

See pics below.

Items on Amazon: 1. REARMASTER Universal OBD Power Cable for Dash Camera,24 Hours Surveillance/Acc Mode with Switch Button
2. APEMAN Dash Cam 1080P Full HD Mini Car Driving Recorder 170° Wide Angle, Motion Detection, G-Sensor, Loop Recording, Night Vision.

I gently pushed the dash cam pwr cable up into the headliner along the windshield, down the A pillar and tucked it up under the driver’s foot well with a direct (removable/switched) plug into the OBDII unit (NO Visible Wires). The switch on the plug allows me to easily switch the dash cam into "always powered" for motion detection/theft mode. or "only on with ACC" for standard driving/capture mode.

By setting the dash cam's screen saver and motion detection to on, it uses very little battery power when in the "always powered" position (haven't tested it more than 48hrs so far).

It's pretty discreet from both the driver's position and outside the car. I'm happy with the video captures, features, options and the plug makes the whole installation so simple, quick, and discreet.

I used the exact same thing in my F30. Can select it to power off with the rest of the car or select permanent power for parking mode. Brilliant piece of kit, especially with the fuse box being in the boot/trunk.

An extra baby carseat fell in my garage overnight about a week ago. Upon opening the garage I saw the carseat sitting on my hood, needless to say I was not happy. Amazingly the 4 dents were not too bad and no paint was damaged (not sure how, must be all the wax lol). So today I used paintless dent repair, and the dents are 100% gone. Wish that $200 would have gone toward an FMIC, but oh well

Wow! That'll be unique. LBB on a F30. Probably will be a long wait, but look forward to pictures!

I did the same and hid the wires. I have it plugged into the power socket under the glovebox. For the rear camera, I routed it behind the seat and into the trunk and plugged it into the trunk outlet.
This spring I’m going to figure out how to mount the rear camera to the rear dash somehow. I forgot about the rear camera last week when I put the top down. Oops.

Looks great! This is my next planned mod. Did you remove the bumper, or was removing the grills sufficient? If the latter, how hard was it to work the wrapping around in that space? Cheers.

Installed the M Performance Rocker Panel Blades.

Much easier to install if you take off the rocker panel as opposed to lifting the wagon. Once you get past the idea of drilling 28 holes in each panel, the job goes rather quickly!

Thanks. Removed grills - there’s plenty of space - although it took me a few sheets of the brushed aluminum vinyl to get wrapped with no air bubbles. There’s a Kies MS vid on it, just wrap it tightly. Took 15 mins.

perhaps a suggestion to place it on the driver's side, depending on your local laws and regulations.

In the event of a crash, you wanna be able to reach the unit as quickly as possible to transfer/stop recording/pull it out before the car catches on fire/etc etc.

Dropped mine off for regular service and check a few annoyances (squeaking noice on 1-2 shift, rattle on front left of car, and driver blind spot intermittently coming on for no reason) so they gave me a X3 m40i to play around with. I must say I am very surprised with it. Faster than mine stock, sounds better stock, and many improvements I wish I had. The back up and overhead camera is far better, interior finishes are much nicer, and for a small SUV handles exceptionally. I also have a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder platinum and this is nowhere near the same size I am highly considering making the switch to a smaller SUV and this makes for a strong case.

Had a 2019 X3 30i loaner and it was a damn nice car, just boring to drive. I always thought the M40i would be awesome... especially with a stage 1 tune or something I would love to have one!
