I'm going to the Duxford air show in September. It actually falls on a weekend off and I'm hoping it's going to be pretty spectacular.

and for those of a flight and vehicle persuasion there's also the 'Wings and Wheels' weekend at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey on the weekend of 29/30 August, includes my personal fave, the Vulcan and B o B fly past. You also get to to see the former home of 'Top Gear'

I am hoping to get to Duxford, I just cringe at the traffic lol.

Was a nightmare working at RAF Waddington when air show was on.

Surrey likely a bit far tbh, however it's an excellent venue.

Another great place to visit is Bovington for The Tank Museum, stuff on over the summer and warfare thing in September.

I used to have to memorise this during winter warm up and spring camp in Cyprus.

Would cover for our usual video bloke if he was on leave or away on ops lol.

You had to know where synchro etc would be at a given moment or specific parts of display for post practice debrief.

Back seat on circus was rather epic though
