OT: BoB fly past
Was supposed to be down in London today for this.
However tube strike this week has pushed everything to the right. Very unamused! I do love the Typhoon and Spit in formation and the Typhoon in BoB colours is great http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-33476099 |

I feel your pain! my office is on the embankment and it's the first Friday i've taken off for ages, so have missed this great sight.

I am hoping to get to Duxford, I just cringe at the traffic lol.
Was a nightmare working at RAF Waddington when air show was on. Surrey likely a bit far tbh, however it's an excellent venue. Another great place to visit is Bovington for The Tank Museum, stuff on over the summer and warfare thing in September. This link has some great days out for airshows and some vehicle stuff to http://www.air-shows.org.uk/uk-and-e...calendar-2015/ Gives you the sat Nav and what's going to be on |

RAF Display Teams http://www.raf.mod.uk/events/displayteams.cfm This is also useful - especially for The Red Arrows and Typhoon. The display dates and venue should match the info in your link. The Red Arrows transit times http://www.raf.mod.uk/reds/displays/...ansittimes.cfm Display sequence / ribbons are cool: The Red Arrows http://www.raf.mod.uk/reds/displays/...aysequence.cfm Typhoon http://www.raf.mod.uk/typhoondisplay...aysequence.cfm http://www.raf.mod.uk/typhoondisplay...aysequence.cfm Last edited by E90F30er; 07-11-2015 at 05:06 AM.. |

I used to have to memorise this during winter warm up and spring camp in Cyprus. http://www.raf.mod.uk/reds/displays/...aysequence.cfm Would cover for our usual video bloke if he was on leave or away on ops lol. You had to know where synchro etc would be at a given moment or specific parts of display for post practice debrief. Back seat on circus was rather epic though |
