What I want to know is where did this orginate from?? As in, it was a Telegraph reporter who found her in the camp, right?? So, what put the Telegraph reporter there & was it just a case of 'oh look who I've bumped into...' Doesn't feel right to me, almost as if it's been staged... I mean, what are the chances of her just being 'found'? As a previous poster has mentioned, there are 36000 people in these camps, what are the chances??
I believe it was the Times rather than Telegraph. Not wanting to ignore the actual story itself, but I was actually thinking the same thing earlier and wondering who's actually pulling the strings and what's the motive?

She's totally out of her depth and being manipulated.

I suppose this is the problem with our country being the 5th largest economy in the world, and having got there by taking over and plundering other countries for there natural resources, resulting in many of their people being given the right to move here.

Those people get accustomed to our wealth and high standard of living, but have kept their hate for what our country did to theirs, and we can’t get rid of them as the laws that make our country so “fair” also protect them.

I’d still love to see her get an RPG in the face though!

Anyone who thinks this is simple and all we have to say is fuck off, read all of this article. For me, I think what's happened/happening is amazingly sad for a lot of families and for those that decided to go.

The end of the article talks about the dangers of returning ISIS members, they do remain a threat and there are no easy answers.

Unless you really believe "fuck off" and turn away is going to fix anything.

It looks as though they are going to revoke her British citizenship at least one of our politicians is working on the right outcome.

Be interesting to hear the rationale given I understand you can’t make someone stateless. It’ll be challenged so they must have some good legal opinion to allow them to do it without comeback.

Also why don’t they do the same with all those who went to support ISIS and not wait for them to seek a return.

I'm willing to be they will fight it to the end at our cost.

With these cases you can guarantee the lawyer is a sympathiser, from that faith and has a vested interest. Tbf British law allows appeal.

She has had her citizenship revoked and she isn't stateless because she had dual nationally with Bangladesh.

I bet the Bangladesh government wish they'd thought of that first......

What about the cost of protection from isis?
If she has any knowledge of their people, surely she will be a target if she does return.
If she isn’t a target already. ?

Well well well....who knew. They dug that out. The family lawyers kept that quiet when asked over the past few days "can they revoke her UK citizenship?".

Not sure how much difference it will make, how many have dual citizenship? And nothing to stop the other country doing it first for those that have I guess.

Some civil servant in Bangladesh will fake some papers where they did it 6 months ago and we'll still be stuck with the cretin.

Cynic! Anyway, surely you can't remove citizenship without advising the person or their representative/s. Are the family going to be complicit as I'm sure they'd prefer her to go to the U.K rather than Bangladesh.

I see her lawyers have finally made contact. She’s starting to provide a narrative you’d normally expect to hear from the beginning I.e “I was tricked and I was trapped” rather than the raw honesty she’s shown in previous interviews.

From the BBC:

“I was hoping Britain would understand I made a mistake, a very big mistake, because I was young and naive."
She said she changed her mind about IS after they imprisoned and tortured her Dutch husband - an armed jihadi.
Escape was impossible, she claimed: "They'd kill you if you tried."
