I thought that for a moment too because it said something like "pad" instead of "pads" and the price, but I thought there would be no way to purchase sides separately instead of a full 4 pad set. They just came in and they are complete sets with new wear sensors and grease included. Also with just visual checks they look correct.

Out of curiosity has anyone tried the m3/4 pads on the m performance brakes. I have them in red and my SA said they will fit as the calipers are the same? (at my cost obviously)

Any reviews on the akebonos or r1 concept ceramics??
So im assuming based off what everyone is saying the EUR1880 front will fit even the unfinished grey 4 piston brembos but the EUR1656 will not fit for the single piston rears???? is the 1656 does not fit do you know if the 1610 fit the single piston calipers?

I've got the Akebonos sitting in a box, but haven't had a chance to install them, yet.

From solely looking at pictures it LOOKS similar to it.
Akebono site, Tirerack, and Rockauto seem to say it would fit for yours. No mention of "Blue Caliper" in the listings. Mine too, another two weeks until my calipers are done with powdercoat. Then after that no idea when I'll have the time to install them.

I did the install. Every now and then I get squealing under light braking, even though I applied anti-squeal to the recommended areas in the Bentley manual. Will try troubleshooting some more.

Not sure if this is already a required step, but is everyone changing the retaining clip with their pads as well?

i've had them for a few days, no squeaking whatsoever, they do have less bite than oem but the brakes feel more linear and consistent and the best of all minimal brake dust.

I've been hearing a quick oscillating noise when I drive with the windows down and it's definitely coming from the wheels.sounds starts at about 20mpb. It's not a squealing or grinding but a oscillating noise. The noise only occurs when I'm driving and there is no noise while I brake. I'm not sure if it's the akebono pads or the r1 concept rotors. Iv the pads and rotors for about 100 miles so far. Im guessing I need to give the pads and rotors more time

i took it back to the shop that installed the pads and rotors and they are saying everything looks fine and to give it some more time. they are saying since the pads and rotors are new the buzzing sound could be a result of the pads making contact with drilled and slotted part of the rotor while driving. i guess we will see what happens in the next few hundred miles
