You need to be careful as not all BMW dealers will allow you to do this.
I use Sytner Nottingham for servicing who let me supply my own oil. Sytner Leicester won’t let you do that at all. Sytner Coventry told me they would let me take my own oil but they wouldn’t update the iDrive service records if I did. Maybe ring round various dealers first to see what their policy is.

Problem with you supplying your own items is that you break the chain of liability.
Imagine a part that you have supplied to them fails. Who do you blame and try to seek redress from, the fitter or the part supplier ? For the savings, its not worth it if it goes wrong - the potential for headaches is immense. If you're that desperate to save money on servicing, then go to an independent garage |

They should if you've bought genuine parts from another dealership and have the receipt to prove it.
I bought my blackline tail lights from Bluebell Crewe's eBay store and had them fitted by Cotswold BMW. There are a decent number of BMW dealerships on eBay who will get you the correct parts for a decent discount compared to your local and your local *shouldn't* have any issue fitting them.

I called my previous service centre BMW Berry and looks like they have now stopped this practice.
Also it appears that they are still very much into ripping people off on the costs, i was quoted £512 for major over the phone and i asked how come their own website online booking price is £350 and i was simply told, yeah thats online price!

Needless to say, I cancelled that booking, found an Indy that serviced it for me last year and returning there next week... |
