It's only a half-inch wider, and that's a good thing for both styling and performance.
And it's fully 2.7 inches shorter, so this coupe might actually be lighter than the sedan.

And it could have been even lighter yet if it was shorter in length, instead of longer.

The F32 is going to be one stunning car, but there are two design elements that have become staple's of the BMW lineup that I could really live without.

1. Those god-awful eyelids on the headlights
2. The bonnet that no longer extends to the kidney's and leaves an ugly crease in the otherwise beautiful hood-line.

the Production car will look 90% like this concept, sure the door handles and the mirrors will change...and about the front/rear bumpers usually the M Sport Package will debut later and looks very close to this....

this what usually happens, and sure we are excited....it's the most awaiting car of BMW line ever....

We're looking at a production concept, not an auto-show concept car. I imagine a few of the more dramatic trim bits won't make it to production, and those wheels look a little over the top - but fundamentally this is the car. I don't see a problem revealing it at all.

Take a look at the 6 series concept, now that you can turn around and look at the actual 6. The concept was very close to the production car.

I think what we are trying to say is that all the elements that people are getting excited about in this concept coupe are not in the final production form, such as the door handles, the rear bumper, exhaust, mirrors, wheels etc as evidenced by the photos of the production car that have been seen. And obviously that interior won't be standard if it is even available as a BMW Individual option. So without those elements, it isn't all that much different from a 2 door F30. And somehow the coupe is larger?

It may look good, but I hate to see what the weight of this car will be. For all those people who come back with "they will use more HSS, Al, etc. to keep the weight the same". Imagine how much lighter it could have been then if it would have stayed the same in size, instead of growing.

I'm looking forward to seeing the specs (dimensions, weight) too, and to seeing the production version in person. I wonder if the concept just looks much bigger in photographs and with all the add-ons (massive bumpers, etc.). I was just noticing that in the spy shot above of the guy loading the coupe it actually looks fairly compact.

That's one thing I always liked about the 3-series coupes, how compact they were. I know what you mean about making room for the 2-series, but I also would hate to see the 3/4 series just getting bigger and heavier.

I actually think the design of the sedan, f30, is better integrated as a whole.

I'd really like to see an e46/f32 side-by-side comparo in pictures.

The 4 series concept looks alright, but it looks less distinct from sedan as the E92 coupe from the E90 sedan. That is either a good or bad thing, depending on your view.

Btw, how does the E92 compare to this 4 series concept? So far, which one do you like more?

As someone who just purchased a 2013 E92 M-Sport, I must admit the concept F32 looks really nice. Truth be told, I'd take it over my E92.

And I thought my '15 F30 sedan sat low to the ground --!

If I didn't have animals to haul to the vet or to bug out with in case of hurricane, a 4 series would suit me more than fine. But I need a sedan's access to the back seat.
