Bought my son an Impreza wagon but he still hasn’t started his driving lessons so it’s the side peice for now if I need more load space or any weather AWD capabilities.

Very raw feeling, it begs you to really throw it around, but also driving it 10/10 likely won’t get him in trouble since it’s not that fast. Just as happy on the twisties as it was on mild off-roading trails |

We got him the 1.5 as insurance is cheaper. No turbo and super slow. It has the 5 spd manual as he wants to learn stick. Feels really solid and planted though, we thought it was a good safe option. Proper old school feeling. |

My wife's Racing Jazz (ie not very racing at all)
There's a phrase here in the North of the UK 'can't pull skin off a rice'puddin' - generally means no power, which is right But it's been a superb car; 2008 plate, done 31k miles and soon to be sold

My wife's 2018 Honda Accord Sport. It's got the 1.5I4 turbo with the CVT but it's not a bad driver and it gets over 450 miles per tank. Since I am the warranty on all our cars I've been spending a lot of time wrenching on it lately now that she's at 110k miles. It's not a bad car but brittle as an oatmeal granola bar, we're waiting for the infamous head gasket to let go and the fenders pop out of their plastic clips all the time.
Also we have the purchased new 2003 Mercedes ML500 with 270k original miles. It's got a small main seal leak and a lifter is ticking but other than that it's still going strong and looks better than any other W163 I've ever seen out there.
