hey i have a 2015 bmw 428i (n20) and im currently using bm3 stage 2 flash tune. i also should say i have a valvetronic axle back exhaust. im currently having this problem where my exhaust flap opens with rpm and gear when in the settings for my tune i have exhaust flap set to always open sport/sport + mode and not by rpm and gear but still even with this setting enabled it still opens with rpm and gear. this problem is just really annoying because even when i’m in comfort with my windows down and i press the gas and i can hear the opening and closing of my valve every time my car shifts. i’ve already tried flashing the car back to stock and back to the tune twice and the problem continued. is there already a solution to this? or is there any other trouble shooting method i can try?

You have the valvetronic exhaust correct? This should have came with the controller that allows you to open the valves on the fly with their remote regardless of driving mode and RPM.

with the f3x axle back the valve controller is sold separately and costs and additional 300$. would rather have it work properly instead of having to pay the extra 300$

Didn't their axleback exhaust used to come with the electronic valve and a remote? I'm not positive but I could have sworn it did.

i have photos posted. but again, no the valve tronic axle back for f3x does not come with a controller you have to buy it separately, which costs 300$. you reuse your oem valve acutuator. and valve opens how it would if it was your stock exhaust. but in bm3 i have the settings set to where the valve only opens in sport and sport plus mode but even with this setting on my valve still opens how it normally would if the setting wasn’t enabled. i’ve already contacted pro tuning freaks they told me to reflash it with a fresh ots map and see i haven’t had the chance yet.

I'm not sure. I would email them and tell them that you lost yours or something like that and maybe they can send you a replacement
