Good luck...unless you scooped up one of the first round allocation spots. Not to mention, CA has some of the highest "Market Adjustments" in the country. Your chances will be better shopping outside of your state @ MSRP (which there are quite a few dealers not marking up the car).

I'm waiting for the Z06 to roll out, like you, I also played with the configurator (photos on my build thread)..

well, the C8 can wait....I wanted something now instead of waiting til next summer for my allocation....so I ended up picking up something I've been wanting for awhile now.

Found a 2014 Cayman S last week that had all options I wanted....looked everyday for like a month and finally found my unicorn. White on Black with X73 sports suspension and all the other must haves...she was loaded
after some over the phone negotiations I was on a one way ticket the next day to San Jose.

I will always love the NSX and hope to have another one someday, but this 981 Cayman S
is on another level....loving what this thing can do.

R32 was first car and I am always building it. 335i is daily but takes away from my R32. Need to finish my R32 and enjoy that again. Just a different driving experience.

I got the F32 and 3 other beaters lol, a 3.5L V6 altima (about to do oil change in the pic), a caravan and a V6 camry under the cover. All 3 beaters I won at auctions for less than half the market value. Had the Camry and caravan for 5 years already, no issues at all. Altima just got it, also running strong with no issues.

My other, other car is a B8 A4 Avant which developed oil consumption issues.



I decided to do an S4 swap & it should be done in 3 weeks.

3.0 S4 motor going in:


Engine swap completed. Interior, trans & suspension are next.



Since the wife daily drives the F36, I've had to daily drive a 3.2 TT.

Bought this thing brand new in October 2012 and still have it today! Gone through a few changes and autoxed in a few different classes since then, but it's an absolute hoot to drive, even if all four wheels aren't always on the ground.
