Hard top, it's the same car. Just small revisions.

2020 will be a long model year, coupe production is scheduled to end 6/20, if BMW sticks to current plans you will see the all new G22 4 coupe on sale in late summer/fall as a 2021

What does the carbon fiber trim look like? And how much "darker" are the MSport tail lights compared to 2017-2019 LCI cars standard lights? Those seem like the only two things I'd be missing from my 2018 to make it perfect.

I was told by a dealer today there are no more 2019 4-series build allocations left in the country. He said there are 551 in the pipeline waiting to ship. Looks like my 440 will be a 2020.

Not a drastic difference from the 19 model year to be honest. The next generation just looks "off" somehow IMO. The interior looks great, but the exterior looks like It is trying too hard to be "futuristic". |

No problem. I'm curious if the new carbon fiber interior for 2020 is the same as the M4 as well. Hopefully we get some pics.

If it looks as he describes, I sure am never going to buy one but if the front looks like the new m340i, I would likely buy it, check out link below https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7&postcount=41 |

Where's the M Sport front end? This looks like an updated modern-line to me...

BMW, seriously? "M Leather Steering Wheel"? Which is basically the non M steering wheel with the nicer leather and the M badge added on it?
WTF????? What's the point??? Feels like they are just trying to clear their old parts in the inventory. SMFH... |

Too many to list but a top reason is the next gen 4-series will in all likelihood *not* have a manual transmission available. If you want three pedals, buy a 2020. After the release the new one, only way to get a true manual will be on an M2/M3/M4. Also, they are offering great deals on 2020 F32s. Mine is being built next month.
Also, I drove the G20 and F32 back-to-back and thought F32 was more pure, less "techno-fied." Certainly the F32 has a lot of technology but in the G20, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was driving a BMW simulator with computer screens in front of me and not a car. I didn't like it. My .02. |
