Exhaust tips Sizing and Diffuser Melting

Hey guys.

I own a 440i coupe with the Mperformance diffuser, currently running the Mperformance exhaust (with the 3" tips). Planning on buying tips ASAP, but cant decide on whether i should go for 4 or 4.5" tips. Main concern is the diffuser melting or not fitting the tip.

Any advice?

Cannot comment if they will melt the diffuser, but I'd say it's going to look "weird" since the gap isn't symmetrical...

Bit off topic but what's the inlet size on the current ones? I'm also trying to go with bigger tips but not sure which one to even get based on inset size

Sorry for the late reply.

The inlets are 67mm, will install the tips next week and will update you on how they turn out. Got the 4" tips, the 4.5 would likely not have fit, the diffuser seems to be just above 4". Be careful, most youtube videos show mperformance tips are just a screw away from removal, turns out mine were welded by BMW
