Another members Dakar yellow f31, 72K sticker 😮 nearly 30k over base price. I use to think my car with 19k in options was crazy.

Post up some other very highly equipped cars and/or stickers.

I’m over here thinking where are all the “stripper” f31 wagons at? lol.
when my wife got her 2nd 330i f31 she wanted it as minimal as possible. Til this day we’ve never come across another f31 wagon without Navi.
But When she was in the market there was a handful of individual f31 wagons listed at a Bmw dealer in Southern California. They were all 70k plus. But don’t remember the most expensive option’d one.

I like the idea behind this thread. However, the highest sticker price does not mean the most equipped.

Nearly all the f31s that Century West ordered back then were not fully loaded and even missed basic options. They were expensive because many accessories were added, which is very cool of course. But that doesn't mean they were fully loaded. They were not.

Case in point above about the Dakar F31.

It is missing the following:

0248 Steering wheel heater
02VL Variable Sport steering
0441 Smoker package
0496 Seat heating, rear
0502 Headlight cleaning system
05AG Lane-change warning
05AS Driving Assistant
05DC Rear-seat headrests, folding
05DL Surround View
05DP Park Assistant
NO Leather
No leather dash

The owner added M SPort Brakes which is also very cool! Unfortunately, BMW did not program them for the car, so it does not show up in the vincheck and should show up under the "Retrofitted optional equipment" as "SPBR Retrofit sport brake."

So even though my car retailed for about $3k less than that car, it is way more loaded with options. I added nearly all the available accessories for that car afterwards simply because they were not available to order from the factory in 2016. If you added all the additional BMW accessories I subsequently installed then most of you would agree that I needed my head examined.

Notwithstanding that bit of trivia, that still is a very cool car! I would never trade it for mine though.

I’m a fan of highly equipped as well as barely equipped. When I bought my car, this was the other 328d I considered…

It took over 9 months to get the car from start to finish. It's likely the most optioned F31 out there, but you never know.

Here are some statistics for N.A. 2016-2018 F31 328d:

1. One of the most rare options in this car is the option S5DCA - Rear-seat headrests, folding. It was installed on 6 out of 2781 cars.

2. For all N.A. spec F31s, there are 7 F31s with Merino leather under codes ZAxx and Z1XX.

- There are two 2016 328i Lava Grey on ZASW
- One 2017 330i Tanzanite on ZAKS
- One 2019 330i BSM on ZAOW. However, this is a pre-production car that seem to have never been delivered.
- One 2017 330i Space Grey with Z1XX which is a Sonoma Beige Merino with Black piping.

- And there is one 2014 328i Moonstone with Z1XX which is a mix of LCL8 and LCSW Dakota leathers.

3. 2VL (Variable sport Steering). Was not an option for U.S. spec 328d's from 2016 onward but remained an option for Canada. Only 6 US-spec 2016-2018 328d have it. Two of the are pre-production vehicles with one of them sold to the public.

3. 502 (Headlamp Washers) - This was no longer an option in the U.S. for 2016 onward. However, it was still available in Canada. Only 3 US-spec cars have it. Two of them are pre-production with one of them sold to the public (same pre-production car as above).

4. 5DP (Park Assist) - This was an available option but dealers rarely ordered it.

186 - US
62 – Canada

5. For 328d LCI 2016-2018

818 WITH MSPORT OPTION
223 WITH 2VF ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION

Just a bunch of stats, if you're into that kind of info.

Very cool stats. I’m unable to find any of F30 328d’s or F30’s in general. Maxbimmer no longer exists and sickfinga has not posted here in close to a year unfortunately
