420d click/tud through steering
Hi, have a 2015 420d. When I drive at low speeds I feel a small click/tud through the steering wheel on every rotation of the wheel, it feels like it’s coming from the front right tyre at certain point in its rotation

Then next step I would take would be to rotate wheels and see if anything changes. This will tell you if it's the wheel or something else in the suspension or drive train. Preferably front to back, but if you're staggered then left/right is your only option.
If you're already 100% positive that it's the front passenger side tire, you could also jack it up and turn it and visually inspect it for any flat spots or bulges. Last edited by MidtownMike; 09-16-2024 at 04:26 PM.. |

But, Strangely, my friend has the same 2016 320d he started having the same issue, we checked the control arms, they were okay. The mechanic ended up replacing some part related to the steering wheel systems (forgot the name) |
