Great Redesign
First off, the driver's stick area looks much better and more spaciously efficient. It is great that BMW gives its consumers the option of using a manual hand brake as well as the option to brake on the shift stick. I am wondering whether every 3 will get the option to choose between eco and sport mode. IMO, i love the interior redesign, the center console as well as the gone tumor like NAV layout. also the front board flowishly extends to the passenger side, very artistic. Love it. Plus under the foglight swtich area, i see some changes too.

okay i lied... the more i look at the front end the more i come to love the car....i love the dip in the hood and i actually do think the grille compliments the headlights (and vice versa) extremely well!... damn that side profile is beautiful....

There are some nice touches to it. I like the instrument cluster, seats and steering wheel, but the center console and radio controls remind me of a Honda.
I'm not a fan of what they did to the kidney grille either. I was expecting a much better design. It looks like they raided the spare parts bin and pieced it together.. 5 series sheet metal and Z4 design..

I love the red stitching on the seats, hopefully its offered in blue too, the blue cloth looks like a cheap Camry's cloth seats.
So I guess the NAV is pop up! if its not they sure went out of their way to make it look like one. I am not against this as my C63 has it and its sort of nice to put it down for normal daily driving, except that with idrive it controls so much more that you would want it up all the time. Rear end looks identical to current one, so does most of the interior. Changes are the trims, seats, and front of the car, love the front with the M Sport package, the M3 Sedan is going to look GREAT. Can I pre-order now? |

I feel like the M-sport interior looks childish?
I just went and peaked inside mine and it seems so much more refined and elegant in comparison. Maybe it just needs time to grow on me but it looks ridiculous at first glance, especially that steering wheel. |

Let's be honest from the pictures I'll be the elephant in the room and say this car is ugly. The interior is a mess; what kind of steering wheel is that? What's up with the pop up nav and the odd seats? The rest doesn't look much better than an accord.
The exterior's front is hideous, what is up with the headlights, the big mirrors and front bumper? M-Sport makes it better but the headlights are still ugly. So far a big dissapointment... Have to see it in real life to really say.
