It is likely to resemble the 6, but I think the renders will turn out to have made it look too much like a 6.

Great render, but I have a feeling that the final product will look nothing like it (aside from overall shape).

I wouldn't be surprised if it did in fact turn out to be close to the 6er. The 3er, 5er, and 7er are close (5er and 7er more than the 3er) so I could see the 4er being a smaller 3er which is cool as long as they dont' copy the back of the 6er which is still ugly.

So unlike the e90 / e92, the new sedan and coupe will share the same front?
I really hope not cause it will probably be too bland for the coupe.

I was thinking the same thing, it really does resemble the Audi A5/S5

As everyone has pointed out, too much of a 6 series look alike for me. The 6 series is a beautiful car, no doubt, but I think the 4 series needs to be a little smaller (at least from the rear, I mean look at that B/C pillar!)
Looks like I'll be waiting for the 2 series now if these renders are accurate. |

The rendering makes it look kind of large. The lights and kidney grills may not be to the scale of the car --- if they're too small, the car will look larger and longer. I don't think it looks bad, even though I like small / light cars.

That is your opinion. I don't like the new 6 series. I love the e92. For those who like the current 6 series, if the new 4 series looks like a slimmed down version of the 6, it will be a hit. For those who like the current e92, this would be a disappointment.
