Just didn't see any other models like that. What I like about the S models is they are more than a body kit. You get the S badging on the interior and exterior, S logo on the headrests (like the M models), and the Drive Select option. All I got was a M3 replica front bumper and some M stickers for my rims. Why am I so grumpy all the time? |

I have seen it on the F01, its meh at best. It does look okay on the X1 though for some reason. My problem with it is that it reminds me too much of that teal color Ford put out in the 90's. |

on the 3 series you can get a manual with the xdrive 335. so this may be a typo or a launch order restriction to make sure they have enough manuals available for RWD builds. Not sure but i feel like it is unlikely they would offer it on the 428 xdrive and not the 335. that would be a reverse of the logic with the 3 series

No Manual on 435xi?
That would absolutely be a dealbreaker for me. As good as the new automatics are, I will not buy any car for myself without a stick. I'll go for a Porsche or an S5 coupe if need be just to get a manual. This is nuts - if it's true.

Why no Grey leather option!?
For me this is a big let down. I'm due to turn in my lease...but I've been saying I'm going to buy out my car off lease. After seeing this I'm sure the 2 series and 4 series will share the same interior/exterior options...so It is veryyy likley that I'll buy my 11 128i vert out.

What would be the top speed limiter on the x-Drive M-Sport then? 130?

I don't understand why people thought the 4 coupe would be something different other than a coupe version of the 3 sedan.
This is how it has been for a very long time. The only reason BMW changed the naming convention was simply to differentiate the sedan from the coupe. So, the sedan is a 3 and the coupe is a 4 series. That's it. The coupe has always had a price premium over the sedan. Why? I'm not positive, but one could say it's because due to economy of scale BMW sells a lot more sedans than coupes. So if you want a couple you will pay a premium to get one. Those who needed or wanted the 4 door will buy the 3, those who prefer the sportier look of the coupe now have that option. If someone thought they would get more with the coupe over the sedan were misleading themselves, or looked too much into BMW's marketing. In the final analysis there is nothing new here other than the coupe's use a higher number. |

That summary would seem a bit premature. Estimates that I see elsewhere on this forum suggest that the 4 will have a lower cg and a wider track. If nothing else, there is a good argument to be made for a better handling package than the 3 offers is similar trim.
Time will tell, of course. |

Do you guys think we can order "BMW individual" options from the beginning?
