Tired of the interior colors in 3/4 series. They've had coral red and saddle brown for many years now. Would have loved to see some of the M colors trickle down that are more sophisticated looking, i.e., a darker cinammon like red and classier brown than saddle, which looks like poo in the wrong lighting.

Saw my dealers ordering system and there were a few 4 series cars in there with production numbers that can be modified. So I guess they are ramping up to build them soon.

precisely what BMW have been telling us to do, no matter how much money u spend. I am amazed by the lack of interior upholstery options on the M-sports line, hideous EB or Red strip running through the dash and no option of multi-contour seats in the luxury line, albeit a bit better than the E90 standard seats.

Might as well get a 5 series for that money, but its a boat.

The point wasn't to make more money though that certainly is a respectable goal for ANY company. The point as I understand it was to separate the 3 series sedans/GT from the coupes/convertibles. I don't know why this is such a tough concept for people to get (not meaning you specifically). With the addition of new body styles, a divergence was necessary in order to reduce confusion. The luxury Marques are following the trend Audi started.

I had the chance to see and sit in the new 435i last Friday, and it seemed every bit as good as I hoped for. Much has been carried over from the F30 and adjusted for more perfection. The front could be more aggressive, like what we have seen in the Concept version, but that can be changed with aftermarket parts, I guess.

If I could get my 3 kids in the back and had the 145 KUSD that the base 435i version probably will cost in Denmark, I would have signed the deal without ever driving it.

We were told that production would start in September, but I'm really not sure if that was for Danish deliveries or WW.

Speciel dealer promotion I guess

Its on tour in Denmark from one dealer to the other and shown at the presentation of the BMW 3 GT as a special treat. If you understand Danish, you can read all about it on the Danish BMW Club homepage or Facebook group. They put a sticker on all cameras so that we couldn't take pictures (actually we could easily do it, but I didn't see anybody trying to do it)

It had "sport" written on the door sills (is that the right word?) and all kinds of equipment, but I don't think it had a specific package.

We were asked not to - actually we all got stickers on our camera lenses, though that wouldn't really stop anybody.

I didn't see anybody taking pictures, though it would have been easy, so I think that people respected BMWs wishes, in return for this extraordinary presentation.
