Fog light trim color missmatch?

Just handwashed my pre-owned 2013 Sportline Havana for the first time.

The fixed a broken fog light trim on the right side and a panel underneath prior delivery.

Did they get the color wrong, or it this new vs old? I emailed my sales guy, but you guys feedback will help avoiding bullshit.

The older trim look dark blue, the new one looks shiny black.

Any idea what's going on?

Starting to think that the fog plastic discolor with time... Anyone know how hard it would be to take it out to paint it black?

I see the difference. The new one looks better I'm thinking. It matches your grill better.

Looks like they changed (sides: bylooking at photo) left side trim and right side faded by time misuse of cleaning products maybe, I can offer getting both wrapped, this way they will look same or buy a new trim for right side

That part doesnt come in different colors.
So guessing the old one has faded due to some reason (chemicals/sun/age/scratches/polishing)

Certified pre-owned? If they replaced the one side I'm thinking it wouldn't be unreasonable for you to ask for the other side. It shouldn't be faded.

The trim pieces were replaced for that owner, and another user who commented in the thread, under warranty.

Thanks for posting this!! I'm sure it will greatly help.

I've got to go to the dealer so they re-finish the rims (looks like there is a plastic layer peeling off).

I'll will get that checked
