F30 2016 LED Headlights retrofit.
Does anyone know if the new LED headlights are going to fit the pre facelift f30? Like a plug and play (with coding for the beams)? Or it's still uncertain? Would be interested to get them for my car.

It should fit the pre-face f30, I've heard from a source trying to get it to work properly. Can't wait to order mine when all the bugs are sorted.

OK, head lights are still in progress but looks like the tail light is good.
Looks like a member 'tortoise808' has them installed already

Do you think a lot of people want these retrofitted for their F30 halogens? We could easily figure that out. Just need to know what the connector/wiring looks like going into the headlight. From there, its probably going to be some coding to turn off CANBUS load checks and turn off pulsed +12v supply. Looks like knightsabers already got a pair to mess with. Any chance you can take a pic of the electrical connector in the back? |

The vendor kept quiet on the process & what's involved. I'll see next week when it arrives, I hope it's plug and play but knowing the vendor it's usually prewired etc & if coding is involved he can do it remotely.

That's what I thought were they freaking kidding me $8000 I know I want it but not at that price. The front & rear would be $10,000, I can probably get a new LCI car for that price.

I think we will have to wait until they get to a sensible price point, they are still too new right now.

Even the tail lights was expensive, I could get a genuine pair probably for $800 or aftermarket for $400 but then again I'm desperate to have it so $2000 for it still seems ok...

I have no idea what i'm ordering, but it seems like this pair of LED LCI LHD headlights is less than the $8K USD that Elebest quoted you The website is www.e-tape.ru - and they claim to have these new LED headlights
$3k... less than half of what Max quoted you, but still in the STUPID (WTF were you thinking...) category Last edited by squidlyboy; 07-29-2015 at 07:48 PM.. |
