Looking to pick up a gas powered m-sport wagon.
I am in Los Angeles but willing to travel to pick up the right car.
Under 50k mileage, Estoril Blue(I can dream right), Silver, Black or Grey.
Prefer 330 but open to 2015+ 328, just want to avoid potential timing chain issues.

Hey bro I am in CA too. Picked up a 330i M Sport back in February.

My best advice, go on Autotrader & TrueCar, save your search terms and just check in everyday. 1 or 2 will pop up nationwide every month. These are becoming so hard to find with decently low mileage. I ended up getting mine from Arizona so don’t be afraid to buy out of state.

Yeah, I have so many saved searches on all the sites. I was waiting on an insurance settlement which finally came through.

Seems to be fewer popping up now that I have everything in place.

That’s how it always happens I will keep an eye out for you as well. A forum member actually helped me find mine.

I am also in CA, and definitely had a hard time finding mine back in October. Just keep checking on AutoTrader with your specific search terms and hope for the best! Will be on the lookout for you as well 👍🏼

Just wanted to say, avoid the temptation of shipping a car from somewhere that's not a warm weather climate like CA. This is actually my second F31, my first F31 was an Estoril Blue 2016 that I shipped from Vermont, and it was just incredibly rusty. I should have been patient and held out for one locally and saved the $2K and ongoing headaches from the car being harder to work on.

I looked at this car about an hour ago. It presented ok in pictures but a pass for me at the price after see it in person. I saw it before clean up and it had lots of random scratches all over, cracked windshield, worn tires/brakes, and I believe repainted front passenger fender (doesn’t show on carfax). I’m going to keep an eye on it in case it drops a good amount though, but suspect it maybe bought sight unseen and shipped given how good the pics look. I’d rec looking at it in person esp for this color to make sure you’re ok with the condition.

I got pretty far along over the phone but they require the purchase of lowjack which they have "pre-installed" for $1500 and did not want me to finance via my credit union. I liked the car and the price but I'm 600 miles away and had to go by the pictures. I'm passing because of their terms though, just not the deal for me.

I’d say you dodged a bullet. So far I’ve learned that trusting a dealer on condition has neger worked out…I called them as well and they too told me it was great shape, only minor scratches…

Buying site unseen so far has only worked on private sellers for me
