Glad to hear that.
The hard part is overcoming the fear of touching (and potentially scratching) it. In reality it is not much different than maintaining a normal paintwork, except that you need to pay attention to the suitability of the products you use and be extra coutious when you wash it, as scratches cannot be polished out. Use more chemistry and less mechanical work. On the positive side it hides micro-scratches, which would otherwise be visible in a gloss finish. You also actually have a reduced maintenance buden, as you will never have to polish it and you use more chemistry than mechanical work

I wish the rotors were directional - I didn't know that when I got mine. Love the color choice though!

Had my ER CP FMIC changed on Saturday also had an oil changed on Sunday. Then flashed tuned it to stage 2 BM3. Don't really know what else to get for my 328i.. I was thinking maybe a DV+

Yeah I hear ya. I was a little disappointed myself when I unpacked them and seen they all went the same direction!?.. Now I just need to get 'em coded. Tried last night but couldn't get the E-sys to connect to my car!?.. Gonna post that dilemma in a different thread and hope to get it worked out.

Took the car in to get the LSD installed! Just wasn’t finding the time to do it at home. Local Indy quoted $300-$350 to have it done next day. Couldn’t argue that. (BMW dealer quoted me $675+. The Indy is a good euro shop that does good higher end work. (Porsche, some Aston’s, M5/M3, RS4/RS7, see the occasional Ferrari)

I got my Euro light switch yesterday and my Kuda mount.
I got them both installed, but the rear fogs don't work right. The left side one works properly, and the right side one turns on the reverse light rather than the rear fog. So I guess I have to troubleshoot that some more tonight when I get home. Here is a pic of the back end. |

For the USA you should have only the left rear fog light illuminated. Of course 99.9% of drivers won't have a clue about why that lamp is lit - they'll think you have a bulb out or be pi$$ed because it's so bright!

Fuel filter! First time changing out of warranty, super easy. Took more time to remove and put the under body covers back on.
