Cleaned out my AC fan blower motor and interior cabin air filter. Lots of leaf debris. Much quieter operation now. The filter still looked decent, so I gave it a good vacuuming and a spray of Febreze 😉

I have a luxury line as well, but a 328i.
Your rims look awesome. I think they would match mine pretty well.
What kind are they? I've been looking for some nice summer ones and those might be the ticket.

New Tint

So I got my car re-tinted yesterday.
It was still a greenhouse and quite hot. This is my first black car.
I used the local tint shop that does our cars where I work and they did a great job.
They removed what was on there and put 15% all around, including a sunvisor strip that I've never had before. I didn't ask for it, the tinter just put it on. I just asked for a nice dark tint that would cool the car down.
I am very happy with it. Driving it today it was much better inside.
I also bimmercoded Eco Pro mode as default, and I finally figured how to turn ASS off. So that is a lot better. I normally manually put it in sport when I want to have a bit more fun with the car. I don't mind eco pro mode as I have a 100km one way commute to work and it's boring as it's all freeway.

Here is a before and after pic.

Lowering it looks great. You must not take that thing down the Gardiner Expressway then.

Yes, the plan is to keep them until about October or November, then put some nice snow tires on them. The car came with good rubber and I am not in a huge rush to throw them away.
Then in the spring get a nice set of staggered summer tires. I have all winter to pick rims. But I liked the chrome trim one on the white one a few posts up.

I do but not often. I hate driving downtown. I'm mostly around Markham and north of it.

I have my Luxury Line wheel too. So if you want another set I got you covered. And yeah same reason I didn't ditch mine either, they're my winter wheels that I don't care about.

Replaced the old NBT EVO ID4 headunit with the Bimmertech NVT EVO ID6 retrofit. CarPlay is a complete game changer for me. My first DIY!

Thanks man, they are iForged rims. Unfortunately they went out of business a couple of years ago (local private company in southern Cali). My buddy had them on his 335i and gave them to me a couple of months ago. The chrome looks good but keep in mind if you ever curb rash them it can't be repaired since it's plated. It's pretty expensive to get it stripped and replated. I believe Forgestar was owned by the same owner as iForge, you might be able to find a similar design.

Doing the same thing. My factory rims will get winter tires when my current tires wear out. My dedicated BMW winter rims (in storage) will be tossed... Cast vs forged is a big difference.

Replaced cabin filter yesterday - I am used to '80s and '90s BMWs only to find 2015 - 2017 BMWs cram the cabin filter in the same spot... sigh.
