At the time of the weekly bath, I removed the floor mats and vacuumed out the dirt and bits of leaves on the carpet.
Cleaned the interior of the windshield and back glass with -- I don't know what to call it: I've had it a while. A flat plate covered with a water-sprayed microfiber towel, and the plate is on a long handle so you can reach down to the lowest parts of the glass. Also I took out the front floor mats, which were getting dirty and stained. I sprayed and rinsed them in the bathtub and let them dry before reinstalling. Like VK335M, I detailed the interior, using some Meguiar's Natural Shine and some Mother's Back to Black. The texture of the dash always seems a bit dry to me, but I don't want to use silicone-based products. Is there any product which will make the dash, door tops, and horn pad smooth and semi-gloss, or will these products do? |

A buddy of mine, the one who never cleans his car, advised me to get one of those velour dash mats like he has on the Sonata. Unlike the rest of the car, it looks kind of cheap. I'd rather invest in protection products and use a little elbow grease now and then. |

Receive my new shocks and mounting parts the other day. Should have them installed this month.

I gave my car the full detailing treatment this weekend.
This was my first time doing something like this. I hadn't had a car worth doing it on. I started with a really good wash, then moved it into the shop for a claybar treatment, wax, and some sort of a ceramic spray. Took me quite a while. Then I did the interior and powerwashed the floormats as the kids had a bit of mud on their shoes and got them dirty. I didn't get any pics of the inside, but the outside looks great I think. The bumber has some scratches on it, and I might consider getting it either repainted or replaced. |

Rinsed the car off at a self car wash at 330am this morning before work. Had it parked under a tree and needed to be cleaned off. So much butter when you have sealant on the car

Yay!
Changed my outside pillars because they were getting a bit faded! So much better, nice and shiny again
