BMW F30 Alpina B3 Preview
BIMMERPOST NEWS BMW F30 Alpina B3 Preview Alpina has released a preview render of the F30 Alpina B3. Expect it to debut at next year's Geneva show in March 2013 and to be powered by the N55 engine, but massaged by Alpina to an even higher output than the current B3 S which has 400HP from its N54 engine. Whether it's a lip or the stock bumper, the F30 sure benefits from having a flat bottom'ed bumper. Resonates a bit with the design language of the new 6er. Cool!

Seriously, how hard is it to get one of these into the US on a per individual basis? Couldn't one work with an importer who will file the necessary paperwork? ..how much modification could possibly be necessary in order to register this in the US? the 3er is already sold in the US. Anyone know of someone who's been there done that?

That definitely looks good!
Alpina did an excellent job on this one.

Is it just me, but are those wheels the old classic wheels instead of the latest version?
Don't understand why on a rendering from Alpina they would use the old wheels and not the MJ 2010 wheels. Check their site for the differences. The latest version can be found on the E92, latest 5 and 7 series. |

Thanks for posting this Jason
Do you know by chance what the price range would be for North America and if we can order it in Canada. Thanks! Love the wheels ... can't wait to see the rest of the photographs, that I am sure will be posted eventually. Thanks, Rolf-Dieter |

Well, there's a F30 that seems like it'd be pretty nice to have. It's a shame these don't seem to make it to the US.
But what's with those markings on the side of it? That's a bit "toy car" IMO.

For all that want it in the US you wouldnt buy it if it was here because it would be as much or more than an M3 and would also only come in automatic.

Man, this is a good looking car.
An E90 steering wheel?? Feels a bit rushed. Wonder why. Body kit is superb, rims are awesome, one day if all works out I'd like to have an Alpina in one shape or form....

That's a mock up someone did in photo shop. The only differences on the exterior are the Alpina Classic wheels & the trunk lid spoiler. And the interior is F30 OEM except for the steering wheel & gauges.

Nice. I like the concept of the front-end having a stronger "chin."
Much tougher looking in a good way. .
