E-Sys Help!

I'm having an issue with E-sys and hoping somebody may be able to assist. I double click E-Sys premium Launcher, it asks me to generate a 4 digit pin, I do that and give it a path to save it to (C:\Data), it says token successfully created, closes that window, E-sys premium looks like it's going to open but then just asks me to create a token again. It seems to be stuck in a loop of constantly asking me to create a token, any ideas anyone?

Have you followed all the previous install instructions correctly first, i.e. installing e-sys & psdzdata?

Forget about tokens, just pay for esys license.

Looks like the token was only valid until today. Tokenmaster must have made it so that the tokens would only work up until today. Tried editing the valid until date but no joy. Only solution is to downgrade to an older version of e-sys premium launcher, change the system date and launch the software. The newest version of e-sys premium launcher checks if the system date has been tampered with and refuses to launch if it has.

Yes mine is doing the same today too. Says successful token generated, but then another pop up appears asking to input PIN.

The only way I found to get around this was to downgrade to an older version of launcher (2.5.3), generate a new token and then change your system date in control panel

It is true chaps, I’ve spent all afternoon reading up about it. I’ve got mine working again now using the steps outlined above but I’m nervous that something isn’t going to work when I try and code the car on Thursday. Planning on installing the reverse camera Friday so will be a bit buggered if I can’t code it.

Does anybody know if the Carly app would allow me to add 3AG to the car’s VO?

The issue is that E-Sys Launcher PREMIUM's builtin .EST Token Generator is programmed to make .EST token with expiration date of 12/31/2017 (NotValidAfter="2017-12-31"), and that is today. Every single Launcher PREMIUM version died today. So, you must get Launcher PRO 3.x, or play date games with your PC; however, the latter is not so easy as Launcher PREMIUM has builtin logic to check for date manipulation, which is why people are having to resort to a Clean Windows Install, Date Change, then Launcher PREMIUM Install. If you are running Windows in a VM, maybe that is palatable, but if Windows is primary OS, it's simply not feasible.

Granted it is not Free, rather it is "Donationware", it is still very inexpensive and worth every penny. For the first 5 years, before Launcher PREMIUM came along, we all paid $50 for a 12 month E-Sys token, year after year, and were happy to do it. Making a donation of $50 every 2.5 years to be able to code one's car is dirt cheap by comparison, and certainly more than reasonable, and the money goes to a good cause to boot. It's Win-Win as I see it.

How do we go about paying for it though, I don’t see any mention on his site?

iirc you don’t need a token for VO coding.

One needs to email him (fxx token master @gmail.com without the spaces), and then be patient after that.

Only ever used e-sys one on my last f30 to do advanced Bluetooth
Did I even need a token for this? - I did pay 50 quid, but had no idea if I needed it

No you didn't - coding enhanced bluetooth is changing the Vehicle Order and the token is only needed for Funtion Data List coding
