Did you manage to resolve this? I'm looking to retrofit on my F36 as soon as I get it back post EGR cooler replacement!

I also have memory seats, so hoping to avoid buying a separate harness.

Long press of the lock button, no?
You can actually code your mirrors to automatically fold IN when you click on the lock button and fold OUT when you click unlock. It doesn't require you holding down the buttons, but rather simply pressing them once.
If you have had any experience with Bimmercode, this is an easy fix. You won't want to press that little button anymore -- believe me! Just make sure you turn the folding delay off. This video should help you.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have the same problem after retrofit.

[edit] i got it working by coding the following:
ASP_BEIKLAPPEN set to aktive
ASP_MEMORY_VERBAUT aktive

I can confirm that my mirrors are now fully functioning from the driver’s switch, thanks to xDHC. My issue lay with ASP_BEIKLAPPEN not being set to active. A huge source of frustration solved and I am very grateful.

Next problem to resolve, locating loose trim (or seal) causing loud wheel-bearing-like resonating at 75+ mph...

You are welcome!

Also, I had some rattle after i installed folding mirrors. Probably because i removed the door panel and something wasn't properly seated. Since i was lazy and i didn't want to remove it again to check whats up, i just gave the door a few good bangs with the fist and for now it's gone. If it comes back i'll go ahead and remove the panel to see.

I'm fortunate in that I don't have any interior rattles or vibrations at all, just the buzz/hum over a certain speed. It's not tyre or bearing noise and I'm convinced that it's something loose externally around the base of the windscreen on the passenger side (my car's RHD). Anyway, that's a problem for another day and a different thread!

Thanks again for the coding tip on the mirrors

Hi!
I'm trying to make my passenger mirror to tilt down when engaging Reverse (manual gearbox) on a F30 (2014) with inside mirror (auto dimm) but only heated side mirrors (no power folding mirrors).

However, I could code these 3 lines that Mr Tim@codemybimmer descbribed but nothing happens.

So, do you think are there any other lines that need to be coded in order to make It tilt down?

Best regards!

And the slide switch to adjust the mirrors is set to the driver's side?
This only works if the slide switch is set in this way.

Ah, i just saw you don‘t have the Power folding mirrors.
No, then it doesn‘t work.
Tilt down only with Power folding mirrors.

So, once it won't work, do you to advise me to revert that 3 lines i coded?

I think it doesn’t matter if you leave it that way or code it back.
There should be no problems if it doesn’t work but the values are still coded.

OK! One day, probably when I'll code some other thing, I will revert that just for the sake of it.
