Anybody know a cheap shop where I can install downpipes correctly in the NY area?

They quoted me $350 for labor I find that pretty ridiculous and not cheap.

Do not take that. Honestly, you can knock this thing out with jackstands if you want. A lift makes it easier of course. People pay less than $200 for that type of install out here in California.

You can grab a pair of jack stands and an aluminum floor jack for under $100 at Harbor Freight, then you can use that any time you need to do the oil, or if you do further upgrades down the line (FMIC, charge pipes, etc.) -- worthwhile investment and much less than the $350 that shop quoted you, if you ask me!

If so, I might just take the previous advice and grab myself my own tools. |
