Best code reader for b58

Not on a tune or jb4, what is best way to read codes on the b58?

I use scantool.net's cable along with OBDwiz. I'm sure there's much better options out there as this one will read manufacturer codes (and permanently stored codes), but you're on your own in figuring out what they mean. Generic codes get read just fine and they're explained by OBDwiz.
