2024 Mercedes-AMG CLE53 Coupe
https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...oupe-revealed/ I have always liked the new facelifted E53 amg, this takes it to another level of aggression. If this is a direct competitor to the M440i, I would take this any day of the week. Imaging a 63 comes out with a V8, woof, BMW have some work to do.

MB nailed the exterior design. Still not a fan of the interior tablet center console. Performance looks adequate, but unsure whether it can compete with the B58 40i cars when mods are involved. Also worried about repair bills, since there's extensive technology in that engine. That being said, I'd be glad to be proven wrong. That, and I'm glad they kept the inline-6! I love AMG and hope this sells well.

Everyone that I know who has bought MBs recently gt53, cls53, etc. are all dealing with reliability issues. ie electronics, interior fit and finish issues. Mercedes seems to be on a bit of a downward trajectory.
Good looking cars though, no doubt. |

MB's look great. That's where greatness ends. Reliability across MB models is in the basement. MB was ranked 29 out of 30 brands in the most recent Consumer Reports reliability survey. Don't go near 2020 and later MB without a warranty. Even with a warranty you have to ask yourself if your time merits trips to the dealer or flatbedding the car to the dealer.

News out there says they trying to bring V8 back to the C63 due to how atrocious the I4 c63 is selling, they couldn't even beg people to buy that car.

Upgrade over the prior C coupe
But downgrade over the prior E coupe. One of my buds has one and the interior of this definitely isn't as nice. Exterior styling is...predictable. Handsome but forgettable. In a few years this car will be forgotten in everybody's memory.

Best looking attainable German coupe on sale today in my opinion (even more so than the M8 Coupe and I love that car).

CLE 53 is basically built with US market in mind, 6 cylinder is important for our market. CEO hinted at CLE 63 also getting same inline-6 but with E-perf hybrid system. Same setup rumored for 2024 E63. |

The 4-series coupe is a total mess. Buck teeth, soft squishy lines on the side, etc. Just not a beautiful car.
This CLE may be predictable but it's not ugly.

No it won't. There's already been several insider talks that it's getting the C63's 4cyl electrified power plant.
