Eibach ARB's with EDC + lowering springs
Guys, I consider upgrading the ARB's and looking for a real-world experience of somebody with a similar setup and upgrade path... While my garage recommended the H&R ARB's, based on the comments here on being too stiff in the rear I consider going Eibach.
Can you share your experience with Eibach ARB's on M Sport EDC (adaptive) LCI x-drive with AC Schnitzer or Eibach lowering springs, please? As the car is a daily driver, I am interested to hear both the subjective benefits in terms of handling and the impact on ride quality? |

The comfort is not affected (maybe 10% less comfortable in really bad roads at low speeds but still better from my previous coilovers). The car is more planted and i think that that the ARBs is the best modofication ihave done to this car. Ι think that the car should have these ARBs as new , especially the sport -msport variant. LCI stands for Life Cycle Impulse or, in more basic terms, mid life cycle refresh or the facelift for the f30 model after 7/2015 .
With the Eibach ARBs you are still able to change the driving programmes without problem. This modification is clearly mechanical and does not affect the electronics of the car. |

Exactly, and the reason I included it in the question is the stock ARB's should be different for pre-LCI cars.
btw, I ordered them, and report back, when installed |

In your case (F31), there are LCI and pre-LCI models with exactly the same ARBs, depending on the engine version. Check realoem.com.
