I coded out the I drive warning then coded the M start up animation. For some reason the start up animation does not work it never displays the M logo on start up?

Did you try the other option for the start up animation? If you turn on the I drive warning off does the animation show up?

I've done the same thing for couple of cars and remember seeing a notification somewhere (in Bimmercode?) saying that the startup animation is shown only when certain conditions are met, not always. No idea what the "conditions" are but I can see the animation in my car every now and the.

In order for the start up logo to appear the Idrive has to be completely off. When you unlock the door the idrive has already started booting up. More than likely by the time you sit down/start the car, it’s too late to see the animation.

If you’re just chilling, waiting in the car (having a conversation or whatnot while the car is in accessory mode and the idrive shuts off and you push the start button, the animation will show.

So basically, the Idrive starts up too fast for the animation to play most of the time.
