COME ON LEWIS.
For me it was the Webber years at RB that marked him out to be a twat and when Verstappen (sorry I meant Ricciardo) arrived and showed him up he left...

It's going to be an exciting race and we need a bogie man in the mix for a bit of panto fun.

Vettel had left for Ferrari in 2015, Max arrived at RB for Spain 2016 so I don't' think he left RB because of Max.

To be fair, all top drivers are twattish. Its what makes them top drivers.

Drivers champions over the past 38 years have pretty much all fallen in to the 'twattish' category. The only two that spring to mind who didn't were Damon Hill and Mikka Hakkinen.

Sorry I confused Verstappen for Ricciardo.

Wills, I think you meant it's when Ricciardo arrived that Vettel was shown up, for both his real talent level, and other stuff.

And now Ricciardo realises that Max may have the edge on him he's now off somewhere else too.

Perhaps always has been the way of things, and always will be, with the egos involved in top level motorsport.

Yes him!

I must say as prefer the championship when we have teams with drivers that are equal and allowed to race as it adds even more spice, like Lewis vs Nico that was brilliant to watch.

Yep completely agree. Nothing worse than a season with a Shuey/Barri mix or a journeyman second driver just there to race test the primary car on the #2 machine.

I hope Leclerc delivers and actually challenges Vettal. Somehow I dont think that will happen though as Ferrari have never had two equal drivers. They always have a very definite lead and secondary driver line up.

Yes Vettel is even more of an arrogant tit, and no doubt also avoids paying as much taxes as possible, just not as publicly as Lewis maybe.

I'm actually disappointed by some of the moves for next season, I'd prefer all the top drivers in the top teams with no team orders and then the young guns in the mid/lower order teams fighting to get into the big teams.

You want Ricciado battling Max not tooling around in the mid pack as a number one driver in a Renault.

Same with Mercedes I like Bottas but he needs to compete more or be allowed to.

Don't we all try to avoid paying as little tax as possible?

I'm guessing you take a small salary from your own company and the rest as dividend?

It's not a ltd company, and I don't lie to get out of paying what I owe.

Im sure if someone was trying to take 70% of your earnings, your tune may change somewhat. Albeit from Monaco or the Caymen Islands.

I never said you did. Huge difference between avoidance and evasion.

I wouldn't give anyone a hard time for minimising where they can.

Fear not. The one thing more dangerous than having Max in front of you is having Max behind you

Go Max, go!

Good pit exit from Max. And that's me done and back to family duties. Keep going Lewis...

But didn't Lewis lie about his private jet being just for business to pay much less tax, but yet posted pics on Instagram of him going on holidays in it?

No he has never lied about it. He openly said he uses it for leisure. However it is one of those loopholes that only the very wealthy are able to abuse. I think a company that he owns bought the jet and leases it out to him or another company he owns. Something like that.

Not the greatest race, but Lewis won it yesterday really.
