Vsrf downpipe fix / catsim

Any of you guys running the vsrf downpipe fix? I just installed mine and it appears to be working but I’m not sure if I should just keep it installed or keep it seasonal when I just need an inspection.

The version I purchase was the little black box looking one with the led light. Found it on eBay under the discription vsrf downpipe fix.

What is the production date of your car? The dp fix does not work on newer 335s.

See my post here...

Can you share your experience? It'll help us confirm whether it works with newer N55 motors...

EWG or PWG?

Any CEL / errors after install?

I have an older model n55. 2012 f30 335i n55. I’ve been driving around with it on with no issues. I was just worried it would take a dump in the hot weather because it’s like 110 during he day and probably crazy stupid hot inside the engine bay.

anyone had problems installing VRSF CP on a stock 335Xi?

My dealer gave up (he is Dinan so knowledgeable) on the VRSF so I have bought an evolution Racewerks and will have him try with that Charge Pipe.
His wrench said the steering system on the Xi was preventing the install of the VRSF and he thought it would have been OK on a RWD 335i F30.
Thanks.

Which part of the VRSF downpipe was preventing the install?

I have an RWD, and VRSF downpipe as well, fits perfectly without any issues.

VRSF CP hit the steering components at the lower part of the CP.

I have many RWD folks with success on the VRSF. Have not heard from anyone with an AWD 335xi installing the VRSF. Have heard from ER CP installations that went well on an Xi.
