Car has arrived..Please Help!!

The beast is here .. Went to see her today and found the car pretty dirty. I advised the dealer not to wash it as it is going straight to the detailer. Am pretty confused as i can't check the bodywork because of the dirt. Dealer advised to let them prepare the car which includes polish and wax. Not sure what to do now??? Will it be enough just to let them jet wash or rinse for me to inspect the car or what do i do?? Please help?? Thanks

Jet wash only will be fine, they will want to get transport wax off it to inspect.

If you're worried, tell them not to wash/polish it by hand.

This is exactly what I've requested, foam/jet only no contact wash. Dealer said that's fine so yours should be able to do the same. You should be able to see any major issues, any minor marks or scratches the detailer will correct easy enough

Garage List
The buggers scratched mine during prep despite me categorically asking them not to touch the paintwork.

Enjoy the new car.

In contrast mine was transported on an individual covered trailer from Dublin and when it arrived it was really clean - I actually arrived as the car was being unloaded and for a minute thought it had been washed already!

I am sure your car will be fine - the 4 is such a nice looking motor I can't wait to see your photos!!! When are you picking up? 48 hours left for me

I note your from Blackburn. Are you buying the car from Bowkers? Usually the prep is very good I know the team well.

Thats exactly what my dealer said, they have pro team but i dont beleive they are going to do a decent job. I don't mind them using jet wash and let the car dry by itself and that would be clean enough for me to inspect the car.
