Model 18.30.2.354.340 MPE Bargain?
Hi all,
New forum member, pleasure to look through all the threads, been super helpful. Also a year in to owning my 435i, WHAT A CAR! Just thought id pop on to say that I just purchased the #340 performance exhaust with chrome tips, for £750 inc. VAT and fitting from Cotswold BMW. Seems an absolute steal considering any other BMW garage I spoke to wanted £1050+ Hope it helps somebody! (Please remove if im going against forum rules or anything, sorry in advance) Kyle Last edited by Cuninho; 02-21-2017 at 09:41 AM.. Reason: part number |

Welcome Kyle.
That sounds like a really good price. I've heard they can be had for around £850 but never anything lower than that. Have you had it fitted? Would be good to get your thoughts on it compared to the stock exhaust. |

Hey, cheers!
Well I live in Manchester and its a 3 hour drive down so I just bought the unit for £750 with free delivery. Its a solid £750, whether with delivery or fitted. Im going to do it myself though as its a piece of cake as long as you have the pipe cutters to hand I will get some videos uploaded when done. My friend had the #339 exhaust and that didnt impress me at all, but when he got the #340 installed it actually sounded a lot meatier. Not too different tbh but theres an added low down tone that gives me the shivers It's just enough to make you think Wow, but not boy racer. Im really impressed, fingers crossed i dont mess up the install haha. |

Yep, the model of the exhaust ends in #340.....part number 18.30.2.354.340
Yep again, #340 model exhaust on the 435i. These numbers do get damn confusing though, I got lost at sea for a while working out what I wanted/needed while browsing around. All that I can confirm though is the #340 fits fine on the 435i and sounds wonderful. |

It's the middle ground. I've got the back box (mpe) on my 440 without the ppk. It's not too loud but adds to the vocals.
