Mod suggestions for F30 N26. Newbie post here...
Hey all, I just picked up my first Bimmer about a month ago. 2016 328i xDrive, N26 motor. I'm brand new to BMW, but fell in love with the car and drive-ability. Wanting start making some performance mods, but don't want to get super crazy as it's a daily driver. What would you all suggest is the first/best place to start? Thanks in advance!

1- bimmercode app to tweak options in your car, including sport auto if you dont have it.
2- Good air filter, wet or dry. 3- Axleback exhaust for the sounds. 4- BM3 stage 1 to start with 5- Lightweight wheels and non runflats, with the little horse power we have, heavy wheels influence the performance quite a bit 4- Suspension\Brakes, start with the blue msport brakes if you dont have them, if you do skip to springs and blistein shocks (better damping, car is underdamped stock), or if you have the $ coil overs. 5- FMIC 6- Chargepipes 7- Catless DP 8- BM3 Stage 2 That should keep you busy for a while. |

Nice list!
Don’t forget the simple stuff like tint and some good floor mats. |

Thanks for the quick responses! Adding to my shopping list for sure! I've already got the windows tinted and it has a few M sport accessories, CF mirror covers & rear spoiler. Looking to get more HP & Torque (as i'm sure everybody else is). Really want to hear that turbo spool!

2015 N26 328ix non M-Sport here. I'm about a year in to ownership. The mod bug got to me quick! My preference was aesthetic upgrades first since I'm non M-Sport. TBH, I'm kind of starting to like the fact that I'm non M-Sport, since just about every other BMW owner is. I feel I kind of stand out from the crowd some. My upgrades went as follows
Window tint Non M Style CF mirror caps CF low profile rear spoiler Upgraded headlight bulbs and DRLs to LED Carly for BMW coding/diagnostic app Drop in K&N air filter BMS JB+ tune Interior lighting & Illuminated radio trim upgrades (lighting package required) Wrapped interior trim pieces & grab handles in CF vinyl Blacked out sequential mirror turn signal indicators 18" Apex EC-7 wheels with non runflat tires CF Headlight Eyelids Depo LCI style tail lights My car is BMW CPO, which runs up this October. Next summer I will probably go Bootmod3 S1 and then look at a new exhaust or bolt-on mods like intercooler, downpipe etc. |
